The broad vision that brought the founding members together was one of a football club that was owned by our community and represented the community’s civic, social and cultural identity.
The genesis of this club goes all the way back to 2008 and can be traced through lots of small meetings, chats, encounters, and talk.
It’s fair to say our club has been quite succesfull in its 5 short years in existence.
The Purple Hub sports complex, comprising a sports hall, boxing gym, all weather football pitches, grass football pitches, tennis courts and bowling greens
We believe that no child should ever go hungry and that all families in our community should have access to food when they find their fridge and their pockets are empty.

City of Liverpool FC are now inviting applications for the role of 1st Team Manager.
COLFC is an independent, supporter owned football club that is in it’s 5th Season of playing football and has achieved a high level of success to date and is currently playing at Step 4 of the National League System in the Pitching In Northern Premier League North West Division 1.
Applicants should have managerial experience in the NPL or above (preferably recent) or equivalent level of football in another country.
FA Coaching qualifications are desired but not necessary.
The successful applicant will have a proven track record of winning football matches at this level of football or above, have an extensive contact book and should live and work in and around the Liverpool area.
As an independent football club, we do not think this role will suit someone who is already undertaking a role in coaching or management at any Semi Professional or Professional Football Club.
