City of Liverpool FC are pleased to announce the signing of Rhain Hellawell on a short-term loan from Radcliffe.

The highly-rated winger started his career at Stockport Town before moving to Chester FC where he came through the ranks with The Seals’ youth team, Rhain then joined FC United of Manchester before a move to Radcliffe in the summer.

The youngster has had a number of loan moves to help his development and should be familiar to Purps fans having impressed against us in the past.

Rhain has previously faced City of Liverpool when representing Barnoldswick Town and during a period on loan last season at Widnes where he played 16 games and scored 4 goals.

Purps manager Michael Ellison was delighted to welcome Rhain to the club, “Rhain is a great addition to the squad, and fits the bill of the type of player we want to bring to the club.”

“He has a wealth of experience operating at this level and above, he had a number of clubs chasing his signature so I’m delighted he chose to come to the Purps, and we look forward to working with him.”

Welcome to the Purps, Rhain.
