The broad vision that brought the founding members together was one of a football club that was owned by our community and represented the community’s civic, social and cultural identity.
The genesis of this club goes all the way back to 2008 and can be traced through lots of small meetings, chats, encounters, and talk.
It’s fair to say our club has been quite succesfull in its 5 short years in existence.
The Purple Hub sports complex, comprising a sports hall, boxing gym, all weather football pitches, grass football pitches, tennis courts and bowling greens
We believe that no child should ever go hungry and that all families in our community should have access to food when they find their fridge and their pockets are empty.

City of Liverpool FC’s First Team squad have returned to regular training sessions.
Starting from Saturday 4th July 2020 the squad will resume weekly training, whilst adhering to social distancing rules in line with FA guidance.
At the beginning of June, Craig Robinson and his backroom team oversaw socially distant sessions consisting of ball work and fitness activities.
The management team have now taken the decision to resume regular training whilst adhering to COVID guidelines at all times.
As it stands there is no start date for any resumption to competitive football activities or indeed friendly fixtures, but the squad will now continue to train until it is safe for matches to resume.
COLFC’s last competitive fixture was away to Prescot Cables on 22nd February before the season was curtailed due to the Coronavirus outbreak.
